Bucks County, October 2, 2023 — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County is thrilled to announce a
significant milestone in our mission to empower young lives through mentoring. As of September 29, 2023,
we have officially reached 100 matches for the year, marking a momentous achievement for our
organization during Big Brothers Big Sisters Month!
Throughout 2023, our dedicated team has been hard at work, fostering meaningful connections
between mentors and mentees, and making a positive impact in the lives of young people in our
community. While matches inevitably close for various reasons, including graduations and other life
transitions, we are delighted to report that since January, we have successfully introduced 44 new pairs,
creating opportunities for mentorship and personal growth.
This accomplishment would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our Programs Team,
which includes both school-based and community-based staff. Their unwavering commitment to our
mission has paved the way for these life-changing relationships to form and thrive. We extend our
sincerest thanks and congratulations to our Programs Team for their exceptional dedication and hard
work. Their passion for supporting young people has made a profound difference in the lives of those
we serve.
